Your role

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Process Improvement team at Rawcliffe. The main purpose of this exciting role is to proactively manage & develop the Rawcliffe site to ensure it complies with all relevant Quality legislation, procedures and best practice including Acts, Regulation and ACOPs (where applicable) and Group Company policies and procedures.

Standards should be set and monitored, and training provided to all staff on the Company’s Quality requirements and standards of behaviour. Benchmarking against other industries and raising the site’s standards (continuous improvement) is also an aspect of the role.

The Job

Reporting to the Site General Manager the main responsibilities of the role are:
Maintenance & development of onsite quality system.
Investigating quality complaints (Internal / External / Supplier)
Visiting customers and suppliers to investigate issues & work towards resolutions
Trending complaints & working with relevant departments to avoid re-occurrences
Ensuring corrective actions are recorded and reported monthly
Conducting spot checks on product quality & records
Conducting internal and supplier audits
Producing a monthly summary for distribution to the site management team (QOS)

The Person

The successful candidate will hold an IOSH or NEBOSH Health and Safety Certificate and/or Internal Quality Audit trained, with extensive experience in a Quality or Health & Safety role, within a manufacturing business. A Full UK driving licence is essential, as is the ability to travel away from base on occasions.
