We're hiring: Group HR Administrator

The Opportunity

Cepac is a leading independence manufacturer of corrugated packaging with four sites across the UK. Due to an expansion of our HR Department, we are looking to recruit a HR Administrator to join our dedicated and professional HR Team.

The ideal candidate will be an integral member of the HR Team providing HR Administration and support to our onsite HR Managers. This position is ideal for someone with some experience in administration with the ambition of training in HR.

 

The Job

Reporting to the Group HR Manager and working with a dedicated and experienced HR Team, the main responsibilities of the role are:

  • Provide support in the processing of new starters and leavers, including site inductions.
  • Monitoring the probationary review process, including producing relevant documentations.
  • Issue staff employment contracts, offer letters and job descriptions.
  • Administration of the Time and Attendance system.
  • Provide month end support for reporting.
  • Process training requests, including obtaining quotes, booking, and arranging attendance.
  • Update employee training records and departmental skills matrix.
  • Provide recruitment support from post requisition to interview co-ordination.
  • Manage annual company car driver approval process.
  • Organise occupational health meetings.

 

The Person

Along with a positive and flexible attitude the successful candidate must have the following skills:

  • Elevated level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information.
  • At least 2 years of working in office administration, ideally in HR.
  • Excellent IT Skills including Excel and Word.
  • Strong Communication (written and verbal) and People Skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills.
  • Excellent Organisational and coordination skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and work autonomously as well as within the wider team.
  • Driving Licence.
